"Aboriginal Head Start in Urban and Northern Communities (AHS) is a national early development program for First Nations, Inuit and Metis children and their families. Funded by Health Canada, Aboriginal Head Start has had a major impact on the children, families and communities that have participated in the program since it began in 1995.
