Abstract
"There is no standard Land Use Policy on most Indian Reserves in Saskatchewan. To ensure opportunities and economic viability for Indian Farmers, effective Land Use policies must be developed to benefit Bands and Indian farmers. Revenue to bands is severely limited and almost non existent due to the almost impossible situation Band Chief's and councillors are in towards developing an equitable land tenure policy.
The Purpose of this project is to examine alternatives for land use policies and to produce a guide for use by Band Councils to assist with establishing Land tenure/use policies to help increase opportunities and economic alternatives for Reserve famers and the respective bands."--page 1.
