The tables are arranged alphabetically by species, with pre-20th century data given first. Pre-20th century data are arranged by fur trading company, group of companies, trading interests, or geographical region. The 20th-century harvest data are presented by jurisdiction in both Canada and the United States, with totals presented for the Canadian, U.S., and combined harvest.
