Abstract
"In May 1990, a remarkable conference was held in Waterton Lakes National Park. Kunaitupii, (Blackfoot for "People Coming Together"), officially a joint meeting of the Archaeological Society of Alberta and the Montana Archaeological Society, was much more than that. It brought together, for the first time, Native and non-Native peoples from Western Canada and the United States to discuss matters of mutual interest and concern respecting Native sacred sites and archaeology."--page 1.
