Abstract

"This is the report of a major comprehensive survey designed to accurately define the living circumstances of Indian people living in four urban centres in Saskatchewan. Other reports and studies of band members living off reserve have been prepared by the mass media, government officials and academics. They have, however, often provided a view of Indians and their circumstances which does not accurately reflect the Indian viewpoint." -- Introduction.
