"This work contains 15 texts in the Oowekyala Wakashan language with interlinear English translation. Editorial comments are given in the form of footnotes. General remarks on the author's language and culture are given in a brief introduction to the texts. The texts were taperecorded in Rivers Inlet Village on the coast of British Columbia, not far south of Bella Coola."--Abstract.
